Tim Howard, Kings High School,
Music
Performance, Ohio University
Comments:
Tim is
a paragon of academic excellence, a
model student who is well received
by his peers because of his friendly
demeanor, honesty and good listening
skills. He possesses an excellent
sense of humor and is a superb band
student... Tim is one of the most
talented and well rounded students
his instructor has been associated
with during his music education
career. Tim's ultimate goal is to
make music his living, like his grandparents who
played in professional orchestras.

Katey Parks, Edgewood High School, Music Education, Miami University, Moeller Music Center Music School Education Scholarship
Comments:
Katey is outstanding in every way;
talented, dedicated, hardworking, driven
and a born leader. Katey is the
type of student that motivates a teacher
to do their best, because they see her
consistently wanting to do her best.
Her instructor has no doubt she will
make a tremendous impact on the field of
Music Education.
Katey's career goal
is to become a high school band director
working with smaller sized bands.
She believes music really is a universal
language and creates so many
opportunities, and she’d love to get
more kids interested in it and inspire
someone like her band director has
inspired her.

Capital University
Comments:
Jacob's playing
ability on multiple instruments
exemplifies not only his strong love for
music, but his considerable talent.
Jacob represents everything that is
right about students today. He has
the personality and demeanor that will
enable him to relate to his students and
share his love of music with them.
Jacob's career goal is to teach either a
high school or middle school band.
He hopes to reach out to people and get
them involved in music

Caitlyn
Crites, Mason High School
Illustration,
Maryland Institute College of Art
Comments:
Caitlyn’s passion for art is evident.
Her work is meaningful and
engaging from sketchbook to finished
project. She works to learn and grow as
a scholar and artist, but she doesn’t
take herself too seriously.
Caitlyn hopes to work at an
animated film or special effects studio,
and she states, “As long as art is in my
life in some way, I am happy”.

school
of
Design
, Art, Architecture and Planning
Comments:
Sarah has integrity, self-discipline and
a willingness to share openly and
honestly through her art, which brings
out the best in those she comes in
contact with.
In addition to excelling
artistically, she has been involved in
community service, including a mural
project for the Coalition for the
Homeless in Over the Rhine.
Sarah’s goal is to
create art that will covey a message to
the viewer that leaves an impression,
and we wish her the best!

Andrew
Koslow,
Springboro High School
Musical
Theatre, University of Oklahoma
Comments:
Andrew is a tremendous talent who has a
passion for acting.
Andrew’s goal is to be on the
stage, but he enjoys working in other
aspects of theatre as well, but when it
comes down to it, his goal is to be on
Broadway.
His dedication,
commitment, selflessness and persistence
will allow him to achieve the lofty
goals he has set for himself.
